Dosbarthiadau mis Medi/September Classes

Byddwch yn cael gwybod dosbarth eich plentyn dydd Llun.
Annwyl Riant/Gwarcheidwad,
Wrth inni baratoi ar gyfer y flwyddyn academaidd newydd, rhoddir llawer o ystyriaeth a chynllunio gofalus i’r broses o ddyrannu disgyblion i ddosbarthiadau.
Rydym yn deall y gall fod gan rieni a gofalwyr farn  ynghylch pa ddosbarth y caiff eu plentyn ei leoli ynddo. Fodd bynnag, mae creu dosbarthiadau cytbwys yn broses gymhleth sy’n cynnwys nifer o ffactorau. Mae’r rhain yn cynnwys anghenion academaidd, grwpiau cyfeillgarwch, lles cymdeithasol ac emosiynol, anghenion dysgu ychwanegol, ystyriaethau ymddygiad, cydbwysedd rhwng bechgyn a merched, a sicrhau bod cymysgedd priodol o ddisgyblion ym mhob dosbarth i gefnogi addysgu a dysgu effeithiol.
Mae gan staff  wybodaeth helaeth am y plant ac maent yn cydweithio’n agos i wneud penderfyniadau sydd er budd gorau pob disgybl. Er bod amgylchiadau unigol yn cael eu hystyried yn ofalus, nid yw bob amser yn bosibl darparu ar gyfer pob cais penodol.
Ein nod yw creu dosbarthiadau lle gall pob plentyn ffynnu’n academaidd, yn gymdeithasol ac yn emosiynol.
Rydym yn gwerthfawrogi y gall cyfnodau pontio weithiau fod yn achos pryder i blant a theuluoedd, a byddwn yn gweithio gyda chi i gefnogi’r broses hon.
Ar 1af o Orffennaf, bydd pob disgybl yn symud i’w dosbarth ar gyfer mis Medi, lle cânt groeso cynnes a chyfle i gwrdd â’u cyd-ddisgyblion newydd a’r staff, er mwyn paratoi ar gyfer dechrau’r tymor newydd. Dylai’r disgyblion ddechrau a gorffen y diwrnod yn eu dosbarth arferol.
Ar ddiwedd y diwrnod ysgol, bydd cyfle i’r disgyblion fynd â chi fel rhieni i’w dosbarth newydd i gwrdd â’r athro neu’r athrawes. Bydd hwn yn gyfle anffurfiol i gyfarfod a sgwrsio. Gweler y poster atodedig am ragor o wybodaeth.
Diolchwn i rieni a gofalwyr am eu dealltwriaeth a’u cefnogaeth wrth inni ymgymryd â’r broses bwysig hon.  Mae’r polisi trosglwyddo wedi ei atodi.
You will find out your child’s class for nest year on Monday
Dear Parent/Guardian,
As we prepare for the new academic year, a great deal of thought and careful consideration is given to the process of allocating pupils to classes.
We understand that parents and carers may have preferences regarding which class their child is allocated; however, creating balanced classes is a complex process that involves many factors. These include academic needs, friendship groups, social and emotional wellbeing, additional learning needs, behaviour considerations, gender balance, and ensuring that all classes have an appropriate mix of pupils to support effective teaching and learning.
School staff have extensive knowledge of the children and work collaboratively to make decisions that are in the best interests of all pupils. While individual circumstances are carefully considered, it is not always possible to accommodate every specific request.
Our aim is to create classes where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We appreciate that transitions can sometimes be a source of anxiety for children and families and will work with you to help this transition.
On the 1st of July,  all pupils will move to their class for September where they will be welcomed and have a chance to meet their new class mates and the staff in preparation for September.  Pupils are to start and end the day in their usual class.  At then end of the school day, there will be an opportunity for pupils to take you as parents to their new class to meet the teacher.  This will be an informal chance to meet and chat. Please see poster attached.
We thank parents and carers for their understanding and support as we undertake this important process. Attached is the transition policy.
Diolch yn fawr,
