 Tidy Mold Day 24th October 2021
Volunteers needed – can you spare a few hours on Sunday 24th October to help tidy our town?
Due to the ongoing Covid situation, our annual four day Spring Clean has not been able to take place since 2019 and Springy our Town Mascot has been worrying about the litter and weed build up in the town. So to save Springy anymore concern, we have decided to organise a one day Tidy Mold event on Sunday 24th October, focusing on cleaning and tidying the town centre and we would like your help. Can you join us?
There are a number of jobs for volunteers to do, such as litter picking, clearing weeds from footpaths, tidying and weeding flowerbeds, sanding and painting town benches, with opportunities for everyone to participate.
We will have equipment available to use, including high vis vests, litter pickers, gloves, bin bags, cloths, buckets, paint brushes, stain etc but please do feel free to bring your own equipment if you would prefer.
If you are a town centre business, can you spend an hour or two on this date tidying outside your premises or can you offer to come along and tidy other areas in the town?
Everyone volunteering will be automatically be entered into our Tidy Mold prize draw for the chance of winning Totally Mold vouchers, there will be 5 x £25 worth of vouchers to be won.
